Lunch at Vieux

Jul 1, 2014

Before leaving for England, we managed to squeeze in a trip to Vieux with Jean Jacques & Cathy to meet Andrew & Merrie. We drove via Gaillac but somehow took a wrong turn and approached Vieux from Le Verdier instead coming from Cahuzac-sur-Vere. It didn't make much difference since we finally arrived in Vieux and saw Merrie waving in the distance outside their lovely cottage in the centre of the Village.

We had a wonderful lunch and the conversation flowed well in Franglais between everyone. We eventually left late in the afternoon and drove back via Lautrec which is famous for the production of pink garlic.
